About me

I am a tester who likes writing code as much as testing it.

I have over 10 years experience working with web applications in a variety of contexts and using many different technology stacks. I am enthusiastic about quality, and aim to help teams implement appropriate testing at all levels in order to deliver the best quality code, product, and the best experience for their users.

I have experience with multiple languages, tools and frameworks, including Ruby, Java, JavaScript, Selenium-Webdriver, Capybara, JMeter, and Cucumber among others. Having worked with a variety of software platforms means I am equally at home at the Linux command line as I am on the Windows desktop.

I have worked with teams using a variety of development methodologies, including agile teams and those transitioning to agile methodologies.

I am ISTQB-certified at foundation level and have conducted significant self-study in recent years in order to further my skills.
